Reading in Iceland

Before heading out on my vacation last week I had the idea to take photos/videos of me with any of the books I was bringing with me (plus kindle and iPad). It would make for a funny compilation or Reel of me reading in random and/or picturesque spots. I didn’t actually read at any of these spots except for at the airport and on the plane rides! The other times I read for real during my trip were at the hotel at night before bed and sometimes on the Kindle app on my phone in the car.

At the airport, waiting to board.

On the plane.

At Thingvellir National Park.

At the Bridge Between Two Continents.

In Vik, looking at the black sand beach from above with gorgeous views of the water and puffins behind me.

At the black sand beach at the spot Game of Thrones had some scenes.

At Kerid Crater.

On the plane ride home.

I completed two books of the four I brought with me while I was away. It was a far cry from how many books I finished last year when I went to Washington state and Oregon, but my trip this time left me with less down time so I didn’t get as much reading done, which is fine. Now that I’m home and my family that was visiting have left I’m getting back into my routine and catching up on all my reading!
