July 2026 Favorite Books

I’m going to need August to go by really slowly because I’m not ready for summer to be over and to go back to work! July went by really quickly but somehow I was able to read more books this month than I have in a long time. I actually had to make a part 2 of my monthly reading template and it’s been a long time since that has happened.

Of all these great books I read in July, the ones I just loved reading so much were:

• Fallen Stars by Imani Erriu
• King of Gluttony by Ana Huang
• The Tempest Blade by Danielle L. Jensen
• Where it All Began by Lucy Score
• The Gingerbread Bakery by Laurie Gilmore
• Our Perfect Storm by Carley Fortune
• Road Trip With a Vampire by Jenna Levine (review to come)

And I want to give an honorable mention to The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. I finished it last night so my review is to come, but I really enjoyed it while reading it. The main character wasn’t always that likable so I while I really liked it I didn’t love it when I put together this favorites list yesterday afternoon. And then I finished it last night and it’s definitely one of those books that after I finished it and sat with it a while the more I grew to love it. So it’s getting an honorable mention!

Our Perfect Storm! I loved this book from start to finish and it’s definitely one of my favorite friends to lovers books now.
