It’s been a really weird summer and I can’t believe tomorrow is already September. For a summer that I could hardly do anything, it still flew by. Before I get into the few things I picked out for my August favorites, I wanted to remind you that I’m running a book giveaway and it’s open until Wednesday! August 2019 Favorites
August was so crazy and busy that it felt like a really long month, but at the same time I can’t believe it’s actually September. In August I went to San Francisco for a week, had to wear my glasses for 2 weeks, had a birthday, went to see Backstreet Boys , had my first session of the Vbeam laser on my face, went back to work, got in to LIKEtoKnow.it and moved out of my townhouse. Can you believe it’s already September? I can’t! Even yesterday when it was the last day of August, it didn’t really hit me that it was the end of August. I have just a few favorites to share this month. I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but I think when you’re busy you just have less time to think about what you’re really loving lately. I can’t believe it’s going to be September tomorrow! How is the summer basically over? As with the end of every month, I’m sharing a few things I loved this month! I saw The Zookeeper’s Wife earlier this month and I thought it was so powerful and Jessica Chastain was amazing in it. It is based on a true story and Chastain plays Antonina Zabinski. Her and her husband run the Warsaw Zoo and when the Nazi’s begin to take over, they decide to risk their lives by hiding Jewish people on their grounds. Somehow it’s September already, which means it’s time to round up my monthly favorites. I have very few favorites to share for August and almost all of them are things from TV so I guess a lot of my month (or at least my favorite things from the month) was spent relaxing and watching things on TV before I went back to work.
