I was lucky enough to receive this Clarins Lip Comfort Oil from Influenster last week and I’ve been enjoying using it ever since. Clarins describes it as lip oils that are “infused with 100% pure plant oils nourish, soothe and plump lips — leaving a protective veil of color. L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation
I’m a fan of L’Oreal foundations and when I was recently in the market for a new one I decided to try the L’Oreal Visible Lift Blur Foundation. This foundation is in a squeezy tube and is on the thicker side. I have the shade “natural buff” which is a little dark for me, but I’ve been making it work. It applies a bit orange, but thankfully a few minutes after being buffed in to the skin it changes to a much more natural color. I instantly loved her video and started browsing through her channel for other videos. I have been using bareMinerals for years and years – a little less these days but it’s still a reliable brand after all these years in my opinion. Philosophy Hope in a Jar Foundation
How is everyone’s week going? I have been so busy this week trying to get so much done before the marking period ends next week. For those of you who are new or fairly new to Life According to Jamie, my full time job is teaching. The marking period ends next Friday and of course I made the brilliant decision to make projects and essays in all my courses due this week. NYX HD Concealer
I’ve been using the NYX HD Concealer for a few weeks now and I’m really liking it. It took me a while to get through the Revlon Photoready Concealer, which is a stick concealer so this liquid concealer from NYX was a welcome change. NYX offers different shades for the concealer – I’m using Light – and has also added in color correcting shades. The wand applicator is easy to use and not at all flimsy. The concealer formula is not thick, but still offers good coverage. I like that it feels cool on the skin giving off a refreshing feeling. Another plus is that it doesn’t set too quickly so…

Guerlain is one of the fanciest, expensive, high-end beauty brands out there. I’ve owned one thing ever from the brand (the Météorites Primer) years ago and every time I put it on my face it felt luxurious. Last year when Benefit came out with the Majorette Cream to Powder Blush I thought the packaging looked adorable, but since I wasn’t a huge cream makeup fan I didn’t really think seriously about purchasing it.
