Chinese New Year OOTD

Like I mentioned yesterday , it is customary to wear red on Chinese New Year because it symbolizes fortune and luck. I wore this red, flowy blouse to work. I love flowy blouses for work because they are dressy yet so comfortable.

The blouse actually has ties that are probably meant to tie into a bow, but I like leaving them untied so it’s not so dressed up looking. I like the deconstructed look of leaving it untied.

The only downside to wearing blouses like this in the winter is that they’re not very warm. I brought a white cardigan with me to work since it’s been freezing out lately and I thought a cardigan would be a good idea when I was heading to work in single digit degree temperatures!

I can’t wait for some warmer weather when I can wear blouses like this more often without the cardigan!
