Gold Hearts

Getting up yesterday for work was difficult. Not only did it feel like Monday all over again, but it was really cold! I’m a firm believer that not only can fashion reflect your current mood, but you can also use it to change your mood. I could wear dark, muted colors to reflect my tired and cold mood or I could go for a little bit of color and cute fun. I opted for the second choice yesterday.

I wore a dark teal sweater with a purpley/pink tank top underneath, black pants and this really fun gold wire, heart necklace. I got this necklace from Express a few years ago and I absolutely love it. It’s made up of varying sizes of hearts all made out of a thin, gold wire and linked together.

I love this Naked Flushed Palette in “Naked” but be warned the blush is crazy pigmented. Just the lightest tap into the blush and you’ll have enough color for your cheeks!

Some color, and a fun heart necklace made me feel better about the start of my day and guess what? My day wasn’t half bad.
