Easter Brunch & Road Tripping

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend, for those that celebrated. Today I’m sharing with you the recap of the 2nd day of my spring break trip.

Day 2

We went to Easter brunch at an italian restaurant called Altobeli’s where they had a nice setup for the occasion. I was really hungry when we went so it was perfect. I didn’t overindulge though and just ate my one (overflowing) plate and a cream puff and miniature eclair for dessert.

This top is a few years old, but I still love it. I think it’s got the perfect spring colors and the pastel green is very Easter-y in my opinion.

After brunch and doing some packing/repacking for the road trip to Florida from my cousins’ house in Georgia, we were off. Of course, I wanted to change in to comfier clothes for the long drive.

Zip Up: Abercrombie & Fitch
T-Shirt: Disney
Pants: SO via Kohls

The zip up  sweater is really light weight which I think will be good for this trip if the evenings are cool. It was great for the car with the AC on. The t-shirt was a Christmas gift from my cousins since we were planning this trip. The pants are capri length slouchy yoga pants – ideal for being in the car for 6 hours!

The road trip consisted of napping, chatting, and watching movies, like Big Hero 6.

When we finally got to our hotel for the night we decided to get dinner next door at Cracker Barrel. It’s a running joke in my family that I hate Cracker Barrel. Okay, “hate” is a strong word, but it’s not my favorite. However, after a long day and being really tired it was fine by me! I didn’t want anything too heavy, since we had stopped for McDonald’s a few hours earlier so I just went with pancakes. Breakfast for dinner is always a winner.

Today, we have a bit further to drive before we reach the beach and then finally Disney so my next few posts should be jam packed with exciting or at least more exciting things than today’s post!
