Front Zip Top

Happy Wednesday! It’s the middle of the week already and while normally I would be excited, the week is going by a little too fast for me. I have so much to do before Friday, when I leave for California for the weekend, and it’s stressing me out!

Despite the weather this week not being able to make up its mind, I have fully embraced spring. The color, salmon, is such a spring/summer color in my opinion. It’s got a cheery, fresh look about it. So with my full on welcoming of this spring weather, however bipolar it is, I made the color choice of salmon for this past Monday. Whenever I think of salmon as a color, I think of that episode of “Friends” when everyone claims Ross’s shirt is pink and he is adamant that it is salmon and not pink.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love zippers. I am a big fan of zipper detailing if it is not overdone. I have quite a few tops with a zipper detail in the back, but this top features a half zip in the front.

This top from LOFT is perfect for work or to wear for a casual outing. Like most pieces, it just depends on how you style it.

The La Creme lipstick I have is just a mini size, but I love the formula – it is so creamy and smooth! The color is the perfect nude for me and I would definitely purchase a full size in the future.

For my makeup this week, I wanted a variety but to keep it simple, quick and neutral especially because I planned to wear brighter colors this week such as this front zip top.

I’m happy I decided to start off my week with such a cheery color and comfortable top. The more I look at the pictures of it, the more I love it!

Hopefully the first half of everyone’s week went by smoothly. Like I said, I’ll be away this weekend so I’ll have travel posts coming up!
