Layered Racerback Sweater

If you live in the northeast (of the US) like me, I hope you stayed warm and safe yesterday during the blizzard. I’ll be writing a whole post with a bunch of pictures tomorrow of the 3 feet of snow (yes, 3 feet) I’m currently surrounded with!

In the meantime, I have somewhat less cozy look from a few weeks ago when we were experiencing very mild, almost spring like, winter weather.

It’s no surprise that I love layering and when pieces come pre-layered I usually love them. I mean, they basically do the work for me! Every once in a while, it doesn’t work because the layers don’t fit correctly, but usually I’m a fan. Take this top for example – big fan!

This purple sweater from Express has a low scoop back with an attached black lace racerback layer. I love the back of this sweater. It’s so fun and I can think of so many ways to style it. You could go for a athletic glam look with this top and yoga pants. You could wear it with jeans and Uggs like I did on this particular day. You could wear it with skinny jeans and heeled boots for a more dressy look. The possibilities are endless!
