“All the Flowers Sleep in Winter”

Back in January we had a big snow storm and I wrote a whole post about how I was literally snowed in at home. As with most days that follow immediately after a snowstorm, the temperature is mild and the sun is shining. I took advantage of the beautiful weather and the fact that I couldn’t walk past my driveway (my street wasn’t plowed free of it’s 3 feet of snow until 2 days after the storm) and took some pictures outside.

I chose to wear a floral top with gold foiled writing that says, “All the Flowers Sleep in Winter”, which I thought was absolutely fitting for the snowy environment I found myself in that day.

I paired the top with my well loved beige cocoon sweater – a clothing item of mine that I will never tire of. I got it as a gift a few years ago and I wish I knew where it was from! A pair of dark jeggings and black snow boots completed the look.

I may have been trapped at my house, but at least I got to get some fresh air and make multiple blog posts out of it!
