April 2016 Favorites
It’s hard to believe we’ve gone through another month. Are we really about to be 5 months into 2016? I have just a few favorites to share this month, so keep reading if you want to see what I really liked or even loved this month!
First up, I’ve been enjoying snacking on these Snapea Crisps from Harvest Snaps. They are baked and lightly salted. Such a tasty and healthy snack!

My favorite beauty product of the month has been MAC’s Patentpolish Lip Pencil in the shade “Patentpink”, which I wrote about here. Such a pretty pinky lilac shade.
Next up, I went to see Wicked on Broadway and loved it. I wrote about it here and you can follow my day in the city when I went to see it on my recently launched YouTube channel here. Since seeing the show, I’ve been listening to the soundtrack and I love singing along!

Lately, my Saturday morning ritual (on most Saturdays) is to sit in my pajamas and robe, sip my coffee, and watch The Kitchen on The Food Network. I love the dynamic of these chefs and I’m a big fan of cooking shows. I’ve already seen so many things on the show that I want to try making myself.

Another favorite of the month is the app Tweetdeck, which I use to schedule tweets. I had heard of this app before but didn’t look into it or really know what it did besides that it was a tool to help manage your Twitter. It wasn’t until my friend Karen at Confetti & Curves wrote about the app and I knew I had to try it! She made some great points in her post that I had never thought of such as how we lose out on so many readers from finding our blogs simply because of timezones. I live on the east coast of the United States and I do think about my readers (that I know of because I interact with them) from other parts of the US and the world, but I often forget that the middle of the night for me might be prime blog reading time for others wherever they live. So, I’ve been using Tweetdeck to schedule tweets about my blog posts for when I’m sleeping!

Lastly, my favorite song for April has been The Chainsmokers song, “Don’t Let Me Down”.
It’s so catchy and I have been listening to it so much this past month and I still haven’t gotten tired of it! And to top it off, the DJ duo’s official Instagram liked a picture of mine recently! I saw the notification when I woke up before work and it totally made my day!
That wraps up my April favorites! What are some things you’ve been loving?
