White After Labor Day

I’m not one of those people that follows the rule of not wearing white after Labor Day. Sure, in some instances white is more of a summer color, but I think in many cases the type of piece you’re wearing is much more seasonal than the color.

While I have no problem wearing white after Labor Day, the look I’m sharing today was actually from Labor Day itself. I wore a white, strappy tank top and floral shorts.

I’m really loving the strappy tank trend. I think the cut is so fun and flattering. It jazzes up a regular tank top for sure. I have another one to share with you guys in an upcoming post. I love the clean, airy look of this white one from Express with the crochet detailing at the bottom. Paired with my floral shorts, it was a perfect outfit for a Labor Day bbq.

The weather is finally turning more fall-like with cooler days, though just this past Friday temperatures soared to 90+ like we were in the middle of summer. However, this weekend it really cooled down and the rest of this week is supposed to be in the low 70s so it looks like we’re heading into cooler temperatures. Despite us being in the last week of September, I still have a few summer looks to share so look for a slow transition into fall looks!
