Color Challenge: Gray & Peach
Peach is not one of my favorite colors. It’s not that I dislike the color, but it’s not a shade I would go out of my way to pick. So when Polyvore had a home decor challenge using Gray & Peach, I was a little unsure of what I would put together seeing as how I don’t think I’d put peach in my own home decor color palette. Nonetheless, I wanted to challenge myself and I actually like what I put together for this bedroom set.
I decided not to go too heavy on the grays and peaches. I didn’t want the primary colors of the room to be gray and peach, but rather to just have pops of those colors. That’s why I chose white bed linens and bench and darker window curtains. The grays came in the form of the chaise and throw blanket. The peach & white striped pillow adds a little color to the room without overpowering the neutrals. Lastly, I chose a 4 piece wall art set that is made up of gray, peach, and white. I really love this wall art set! The prints, design, and little song lyric/quote are adorable!

I’m a big fan of grey but not really peach so I can definitely understand the wariness. I love the chaise and wall decor they really bring the bedroom set together!
