It’s the Monday before Thanksgiving! I think/hope the next 2 1/2 days of work will go by quickly. And hopefully the holiday weekend will not go by quickly though all 4 days will be pretty jam packed with plans so I have a feeling that it will be over before I know it.
My weekend went as planned and I was able to relax and sleep in until the sun was actually out, but I felt in a weird funk all weekend. So sharing this blue grey look seems fitting given my mood this past weekend. In the past year or two I have noticed an increase in the amount of blues and greys that have hints of one another. Blues that look almost greyish and greys that have hues of blue. Well, this outfit definitely has separate grey and blue pieces but I was inspired to pair them together given the increasing trend in the combined color.
Cardigan: Old Navy | Blouse: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Pants: LOFT | Shoes: DSW | Watch: Fossil
I revisit an old style detail favorite of mine – the Peter Pan Collar. This blue sleeveless blouse is one I bought at the same time as the floral one I wore with a circle skirt in a previous post (here). As mentioned above, I decided to pair it with a grey cardigan because of the whole blue grey trend, although I know this look isn’t the same trend I was inspired by it. Black dress pants, grey wedges, and my Fossil watch completed the look.
