Merry Christmas Eve! I wanted to think of some clever title to this blog post that did a play on the song “Deck the Halls” but about my clothes since I did a whole Christmas themed outfit, but nothing good came to mind.
I can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve. Anyone else feel like Christmas just snuck up on them this year? To mark the holiday weekend I’m sharing my outfit from yesterday where I was pretty much in Christmas attire from head to toe. I wore my Christmas sweater leggings, a tee with a black & white Christmas tree, and a green cardigan. To make the look really Christmassy though I wore a beanie that I bought after Christmas last year that looks like a Christmas tree! And finally, I put on a Flash Tattoo of a sheep that says “Fleece Navidad”! I can’t put into words how cute it is!
Cardigan: J.Crew Factory | Tee: Avenue Be | Leggings: American Eagle | Beanie: ASOS | Tattoo: Flash Tattoo
I love this festive outfit so much! As themed as it is, I personally don’t feel like it’s ridiculously over the top. In fact, I don’t think it’s especially over the top at all. Sure my hat looks like a Christmas tree and my leggings have reindeer, snowflakes, and Christmas trees on them, but I think all the pieces in this outfit are adorably cute! Cute enough to counter act the holiday overload of it all. I think it helps that the tee features a Christmas tree that’s black & white. If it were a colorful tree then maybeeee my outfit would have been a bit much. The solid green cardigan helps make the outfit more wearable too.
My leggings which I got last year were an amazing investment. They are so cute and warm! I wear them in the winter even when it’s not Christmas because they are just that warm and comfy. I’m so happy I picked up the Christmas beanie from ASOS after Christmas last year. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it for the next year and I’m so glad I had the foresight to do that. I’ve gotten to wear it a few times lately. Lastly, how cute is this Flash Tattoo? I think it’s super cute and the message, “Fleece Navidad”, cracks me up!
I hope you have a great day today whether you’re celebrating Christmas Eve, Hanukkah, or just doing your own thing today!
