Sweater Weather: Pointelle
It has been really cold this week and despite the forecast saying it will be more mild next week, it is definitely winter. Since it is sweater weather, I thought I would share one of my favorite sweaters – a pointelle sweater I got from Gap last year.
Sweater: Gap | Ring: Kendra Scott | Watch: Fossil
If you don’t know what makes a sweater pointelle, don’t worry because I didn’t know either until I looked it up when I bought it. According to Google, it’s a knitwear with small eyelet holes to create a lacy effect. This pointelle sweater in blue heather is perfect for winter because it is warm, yet stylish. Sure, the holes aren’t very conducive to keeping you warm, but it’s fine if you’re indoors all day especially because the rest of the knit is thick and warm. This sweater is also so versatile as it can be worn with dress pants for work or jeans for a more casual style.
I hope you’re enjoying the sweater weather wherever you are! (If it’s winter for you where you are that is!)
