Creamy Shrimp & Tomato Pasta
Today I’m sharing some food photos of a super easy recipe – a pasta dish with a light cream sauce, shrimp, and tomatoes. I’m not calling this a real recipe post because I don’t have a link for you to the exact recipe I used and I have no measurements. I can’t find the original recipe I found and since I first made it I’ve sort of just put it together/eyeballed it each time. But I do have photos and can walk you through the steps so you’ll have to either try to find the recipe yourself or work everything out/freestyle it yourself.
First, I prepped my ingredients. I halvedΒ grape tomatoes, chopped up some parsley, diced shallots, and minced some garlic.
I browned the shallots and garlic in a skillet with some olive oil and then poured in all the tomatoes.
After the tomatoes softened a little, I poured in chicken broth and then heavy cream.
Once that started to heat up, I put in the raw shrimp. When the shrimp was cooked, I poured the sauce onto cooked spaghetti.
Toss the spaghetti around with the sauce, tomatoes, and shrimp to make sure it’s all coated and plate it! I sprinkled the chopped parsley on top for garnish.
This is definitely one of those dishes that looks like you put together a little gourmet meal at home but is actually so easy!
