Dark Floral Off-the-Shoulder

Dark Floral Off-the-Shoulder

Apparently yesterday was my 3 year blogging anniversary! Part of me can’t believe it’s been 3 years already and the other part can believe it because I’ve come a long way with this! As another year passes I think I’ve continued to improve, I’ve gotten to work with even more great brands and companies, and my blog Instagram page continues to grow. I’m currently a little under 9,000 followers on there! If you’re not following me yet please do! Im very grateful for all of you so thank you for taking the time to visit, read, comment, etc. Here’s to another year!

I’m loving the off-the-shoulder or OTS trend this year. Actually, I started getting into it last year but by the time I found some pieces I liked it was too cold to wear them so I’m breaking them out now. I’ve picked up some OTS tops this spring as well, but this one I’m sharing today is one I got last fall. It’s no secret that florals are my thing so when I saw this dark floral OTS top I immediately liked it.

Top: American Eagle | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Denim Jacket: LOFT | Shoes: DSW | Sunglasses: Quay Australia

This dark floral OTS top has a cute crochet detailing around the waist, which helps to subtly break up the print. This particular day was really warm out, but I was going out for lunch and I didn’t know if I’d be cold inside so I brought along this denim jacket. I like that the jacket is a lighter denim than my jeans because I didn’t want to be too matchy matchy.

I finished off the dark floral and denim look with light pink lace up flats and pink sunnies from Quay Australia. I’m really happy with how this look turned out!
