Photo Challenge: Heritage

When I saw last week’s photo challenge was “Heritage” I browsed through some of my travel photos because I knew I had to have something that would be good for the challenge. I decided to use this photo outside a replica of an Athabascan home with traditional dress hanging on the porch. I took this photo last summer while in Alaska.

Athabascan - Chena Village

I’m fascinated by Native American culture and history so learning about natives in Alaska while I was there was really interesting to me. This photo was taken on a little excursion to Chena Village while I was in Fairbanks. You can read more about my day there in my post (here).

Enjoy your Friday! By the way, I can’t believe it’s Memorial Day Weekend already. Certainly doesn’t feel like it!
