September 2017 Favorites

And just like that it’s the last day of September! Where does the time go? I’ve been back to work for a few weeks now and it’s been tiring and chaotic, but I’m starting to get a routine down. Hopefully October will only get better. But with the end of another month, I’ve got some favorites to share.

Back in the summer I bought 2 new pajamas from ASOS. I’ve been wearing them both in August and September and loving them. The first one is a pink & blue trim onesie with a unicorn patch. It’s super soft, comfy, and cute. The only thing that’s annoying, as with all onesies, is that you have to take the whole thing off to go to the bathroom. The second is a top and short pajama set with clouds and a pastel rainbow. I think the print is so so cute and it’s been perfect for those warm nights.

On my extended summer break, I was looking for some shows to watch to pass my days. Now, if you know me (and I’ve mentioned it on here a few times before), I love watching Hallmark movies. I always see commercial ads for When Calls the Heart so I decided to finally start watching it on Netflix and I got hooked! It’s definitely a Hallmark show with it’s family friend, wholesome storylines, but I like it. It’s about a young woman, Elizabeth Thatcher, who is a rich heiress that decides to move out west to be a teacher in a small coal mining town where she makes new friends and falls in love with a mountie.

Next, if you know me you know I’m more of a savory than sweet person. I do enjoy sweets every now and then but I’ve never been one of those people that eat candy all the time. Even as a kid I wasn’t a big candy eater. But, chocolate I love. I especially love chocolate with caramel. I love these Werther’s Cocoa Cremes. They are so tasty and not too sweet. I love that they’re caramel on the outside and chocolate on the inside! So different!

I’ve been taking photos of some good work outfits lately (to be shared soon) and this polka dot surplice top is an oldie but a goodie. I forgot how much I love this top!

My current favorite song is “Sun Comes Up” by Rudimental ft. James Arthur. This is a video of their performance on The Tonight Show recently. I love the song! I originally planned to show another Tonight Show video too of Demi Lovato and Jimmy having a lip sync conversation which was so good (!) but the video has disappeared from YouTube – it was there just last week. No idea why The Tonight Show took it off YouTube and NBC, but I hope they put it back soon because it was great.
