Multicolor Lace Peplum

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend and 4th of July break if you had last week off. Today I’m sharing an outfit I wore last week. The multicolor lace peplum is one of those tops that I bought because I really liked it but wasn’t completely sure how it would look on me and then was pleasantly surprised that it fit me perfectly and loved it even more than I did when I bought it. I love the different colors of lace in this top and somehow it all works together really nicely and isn’t too busy or look like random colors were thrown together.

I paired the top with navy blue shorts that are a little longer. They hit at mid-thigh. With the longer peplum detailing I didn’t want to wear regular denim shorts because they would be shorter and I felt that might look weird with not a whole lot of material below the top.

The top has a light pink lining which looks perfect under the darker pink lace on top and the grey and cream lace in the peplum portion. The ruffle detailing in green helps it stand out and I love the dark contrast. The back zips up for easy on/off and overall I just love this top! The colors all look good together, the vertical ruffle detailing and the peplum design are just the best details. And I can’t forget that pink purple trim around the neckline and down the center. Best accent color! I’m glad I did get this top!
