Be Mine & Strawberry Ice Cream Milk Shake

It’s a snow day! (I’m writing this ahead of time so I don’t know if there’s snow on the ground or not). The snow day was called last night and with my cold I’m so thankful for a day off to just rest!

If you liked my grey sweatshirt with heart print on the elbow that I posted yesterday, then I have another casual Valentine’s top for you today. I have a handful (or two) of Christmas tees and sweatshirts, but nothing for Valentine’s Day so when I saw this red tee that says “Be Mine” I had to have it. The varsity stripes the perfect touch too!

On the day that I wore this tee (with a sweater but I took it off for these photos), I had some extra strawberries so I thought I’d make a strawberry ice cream milk shake and use my new metal straws. A little Valentine themed treat to go with my tee!

I made my milk shake with vanilla and strawberry ice cream and topped it with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. My cousin gave me a pack of metal straws, which are nice and cold and environmentally friendly. I do have to get used to them though because I have the bad habit of biting on my straws and it kind of hurts when you bite metal!

But anyway, I love this tee. It’s perfect for the holiday but you can also get away with wearing it any time of the year.
