Faux Wrap Tweed Skirt

Okay, it’s really hard to tell in these photos, but this is a faux wrap skirt. This tweed-like skirt has a diagonal fray detailing on the side to make it look like a wrap skirt, but it’s attached and does not open at all. Like I said, it’s hard to tell, but I mostly got this skirt because I love the colors.

I paired it with a bright pink cardigan, lace top, and block heel booties.

I loved the combination of the lace and bright pink cardigan and the pink/blue/white in the skirt. It all just came together really well. Here, I went bare legged with the booties but when I wore this outfit to work a few days ago I wore thin, black, lace tights and it worked well.

Tweed is usually more of a fall or winter piece, but the colors in the skirt and the bright pink cardigan help make this perfect for spring.

I hope you have a great Friday before Memorial Day Weekend! I’m flying out tonight for Toronto just for the weekend, but I already have posts going up this weekend. And if I do anything cool, besides just visiting family, I’ll write up a post!
