Pearl Embellished Shift Dress

I bought this pearl embellished shift dress with a bow back in the fall and have been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear it. Graduation this past Friday was that perfect opportunity. Since I was the MC again, I wanted to wear something a little bit nicer than just a regular dress.

This champagne colored dress has pearl embellishments towards the bottom and across the neckline. The rest of the dress has a pretty, subtle gold shimmer. The detachable necktie/bow is navy blue and red and has a sparkly embellishment as well. And as an added bonus, it has pockets!

The dress has a retro style to it, which I love. I know that style isn’t for everyone so I was pleasantly surprised that I received so many compliments on the dress when I wore it last week!

As mentioned above, the bow is detachable, but I think despite the pearl embellishments it would look a bit plain without the bow!

I finished the look off with nude t-strap pumps. On the day of graduation, I wore a black cardigan with the dress because it was absolutely freezing at graduation, but I love the sleeveless look of this dress.
