Blue & White Striped Linen Shirt Dress

I think this is the last linen piece I’m sharing for a while, but if you’re a regular follower here then you know I’ve been getting in a good amount of linen this summer! I love the blue and white stripes of this shirt dress. Vertical stripes can be very flattering – more so than horizontal stripes.

There is a slip attached inside, which I may detach so that I can put one on at a time. Attached slips are always tricky and I find them to make it so much more complicated than it has to be to put a dress on or take it off.

To give the linen dress some more shape, I added a white double o-ring belt to cinch the waist a bit and break up the stripes. I think the white belt is the perfect addition to the dress. I finished off the look with white sandals and that was it!
