Floral Pleated Skirt

I’m so happy to have the day off from work today. It’s been a long month and a half so the long weekend is so welcome. I know, Columbus Day is controversial, but I will take any day off I can get.

I love a good Amazon find as I’m sure many of you do and Amazon Fashion has seriously stepped up its game in the past year. I have been impressed with the few items I’ve ordered so far and this floral pleated skirt is no exception.

I love the mauve-y pink color of it and the floral print is so pretty. Add in the fact that the skirt has an elastic waist and it is close to perfect! The only downside is that the skirt isn’t lined so I wore a short slip underneath (I couldn’t find my longer slip). You can’t really tell unless you’re really looking plus the print pretty much hides the sheerness of it.

I wore the skirt to work last week with a plain white tee and a burgundy cardigan. The skirt can be a midi or maxi depending on your height and where you wear it on your waist. I wore it high-waisted so that it could be a midi on me and I wore it with taupe booties.
