Wide Brim Tan Hat
When I was younger I used to always say “I wish I was a hat person”. And then one day as I got older I decided I’m just going to make myself a hat person. So in the winters I started wearing cute beanies and in the summers I might throw on a baseball cap if I need some shade on my face. Perhaps a cute little fedora here and there. Well, I’m really in to hats now. Over the summer I wore my wide brim panama hat quite a bit. Now I have a wide brim felt hat in tan!
I pre-ordered this hat back in September and was hoping to have it in time for fall photos with Lauren at the end of October, but of course it shipped a few days before my photoshoot and didn’t arrive until right after! Isn’t that how it always is? Anyway, the weekend I got it I wore it with a mustard plaid blouse, wine colored jeggings, and brown slouchy boots.
Hat: Vici | Top: Target | Pants: American Eagle | Boots: DSW
The day I wore this it was super windy out so I’m just glad that the hat didn’t fly off my head during pictures! I love this whole outfit and my new hat! The only con to this hat is that it doesn’t have an adjustable band inside, but it fits me pretty well so it’s not a huge deal.
My plaid top is old and from Target. It’s pretty long so I front tied it here. My pants are also old, but I’ve linked to similar plaid tops and pants below. My boots are 5 years old! They’ve held up so well, but I noticed the other day that they are started to get really scuffed and chipped so I may need to invest in a new pair this winter. Perhaps I’ll put a pair on my Christmas list or try to get a pair during all the Black Friday sales. I’ve linked to similar pairs too. And lastly, my new hat. I can’t link to the exact hat from Vici but I have a few similar options below.
