Monday again and this time a full week of work since last week was just a 4 day week. I’m hoping to get the ball rolling on my multiple home projects this week so I can start to see an end in sight – even if it’s in the distance. I don’t mind if things take a while to get done as long as I know they’re getting done, if you that makes sense.
The weather here has been really nice. Not hot, but not cold. Just really pleasant. I think we’re supposed to get some rain this week, but hopefully it’s nothing too bad. This smocked jumpsuit is the perfect summer to fall transition piece. The lightweight material and smocked detailing makes it perfect for the warm weather, but the warm saffron color is the quintessential fall color. I originally was going to wear wedges with the jumpsuit since it is long on me, but wedges are really hard to walk in on the beach! So I wore my sandals and just lifted up the pant legs on the sand. I finished off the look with my favorite large panama hat. I was going to wear a layered coin necklace with this but it was so tangled that I couldn’t get it untangled in time for photos. It actually took me like 30 minutes when I got home to get it untangled and when you’re taking photos before the sun sets and you’re in the dark, time is of the essence!

I love the buttons and the peplum detailing. They’re nice touches to the jumpsuit and help break up the piece. Overall, I really like this jumpsuit. It has great details and the wide, billowy pant legs make it really comfortable.
This look concludes my beach shoot with Lauren from this summer! Soon I’ll start sharing looks from my going out/evening looks we shot!
My jumpsuit is still available (at the time of the writing of this post) and on sale! Shop it below.
