Piercing Emerald Bobble Stitch
Happy Wednesday! It’s always nice when you have a long weekend and day 2 of work is already mid-week. Though, sometimes shorter work weeks feel longer. I have a very busy weekend ahead though so I’m not even sure I’m in a rush for that!
So what exactly is bobble stitch? I’ve been seeing the term crop up a lot this winter. I looked it up and it’s similar to popcorn stitching where all the stitches are worked in to the same loop.
This bobble stitch sweater is in the shade “Piercing Emerald”, but it’s a little more of a jade color in my opinion than emerald. The stitching is so pretty and it is nice and warm without feeling heavy or bulky. It’s also super soft and not itchy at all!
I wore this sweater to work yesterday with grey pants, but I wore it here in a more casual way – with jeans. Both ways I wore it with a longer white tank top underneath for an added layer underneath the open-stitch sweater and to add a bit of length.
Sweater: LOFT (here) | Tank Top: Old Navy (here) | Jeans: Express
Look at that detailing! So pretty! The color is gorgeous too. And as I mentioned above, it is extremely soft which makes it even better!
I’ve linked to my exact sweater and ribbed tank top as well as similar jeans (you can’t tell in these photos but they have zipper detailing at the ankle). All 3 have been both on sale and full price over the past few days so maybe you’ll get lucky and find them on sale today!
