BBQ Salmon
If you’ve been following my food posts for a while then you know I enjoy sharing easy recipes. This recipe is literally the easiest recipe ever. It’s fitting to share this salmon recipe today since I just ate salmon for dinner last night, although not this recipe.
This salmon recipe is not only easy, but it’s great if you have leftover salmon and bbq sauce – or if you just happen to have both on hand. I found this recipe via Pinterest last year.
All you need for this recipe is:
- salmon filets
- salt & pepper
- bbq sauce
That’s it!
Place the salmon, skin side down, on a foil lined baking sheet. Season the filets with salt & pepper. The recipe says to use 1/2 cup of bbq sauce covering the whole salmon filet (the recipe is based on a 2 lb filet) and to spread the sauce around with a spoon. I was using 2 small filets, so I just eyeballed the sauce and used enough to cover the filets. Bake at 400. The recipe says 20-30 minutes, but it really depends on the size and thickness of your filets. My filets weren’t that big so I didn’t have to cook them for that long.
I made it here with jambalaya and sautΓ©ed bell peppers. This salmon is really tasty and if you like salmon and bbq sauce, then this is perfect for you. Such a quick and easy meal!
