Cape Cod Eats

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Cape Cod and I just got back from a 2 day trip there with family. As always when I travel, I take photos of most if not all of the things I eat so I can share with you all.

My trip was short, but I had delicious food nonetheless!

After arriving on Tuesday and relaxing a bit, we went to Tugboats for diner. I had the clam chowder and tuna poké bowl and a few of us shared the mud pie for dessert.

The next day I had breakfast at the hotel which left a lot to be desired, but lunch more than made up for it. We went to Anejo, a Mexican bistro and it was so good. The chips and salsa really hit the spot. I got the baja tacos for my meal and they were delicious. They were masa fried local cod on soft flour tortillas, lime, shredded cabbage, pica de gallo, cotija cheese, and chipotle baja sauce.

For dinner we went to Skipper Chowder House where I got the lobster roll – a must at least once while you’re in Cape Cod.

After dinner we grabbed some ice cream at Penguin’s. I got butter pecan.

For breakfast the next morning before we headed home we went to Pain d’Avignon. I love this little bakery and restaurant. Last time I was on the Cape, I went there for lunch twice. They have the best cranberry pecan bread and anytime I’m there or I have family there I ask for a loaf. So I got my loaf to go, and while there I had a hot chocolate and orange cranberry scone.

That’s a wrap on Cape Cod food 2022. I’m going to post some other photos of actual Cape Cod and not just food, tomorrow! I’m going to be away on vacation against next week so another travel food post will be coming sooner than later!
