Paris Print OOTD

Over the weekend, I went out for dinner for my mom’s birthday. I knew days ahead of time what I wanted to wear, not because it was a fancy occasion by any means, but just because. The day came and it was chilly, rainy and windy. Despite the fact that I wanted to wear a warm sweater or even a hoodie instead, I decided to stick with my original outfit idea.

I wore a military blouse with a fun Paris print on it. It’s very thin (part of the reason I was debating whether to wear it or not) but such a fun print and I feel like the colors lend themselves really nicely to fall. I wore a pink tank top underneath, jeans, and my new combat boots!! These boots are so comfy and in my excitement to put them on, I undid the laces only to realize there’s a zipper on the side, duh.

I’m really happy I got these boots. I’ve been wanting girly combat boots for a while and when these babies graced my vision on the DSW website coupled with the fact that I had two rewards certificates to use up, I knew they were meant to be mine.

All in all I’m glad I decided to stick with my original outfit plan. Yes, it was chilly outside, but that’s what my fleece is for!
