Yesterday, I went to Sway: A Dance Trilogy and it was awesome! I’m a big Dancing with the Stars fan and I love watching dancing in general. The dancers always make it look so easy and effortless. Of course, it isn’t easy to dance at that level and I’m always so in awe when I see these pros do their thing. I’ve never ballroom danced, but I did dance (your standard jazz, lyrical, tap) from elementary school until I graduated high school. Sometimes I wish I took it more seriously, but maybe one day I’ll take up ballroom dancing!
Anyway, back to the show – it’s a dance show in Long Island for I think 5 days and it’s a production by the dance studio chain that 3 of the DWTS pros (Maks, Val, and Tony) co-own. They, along with some other famous faces from DWTS, and other pros put on an amazing feast of dancing for the eyes. I’m so happy I was able to go and I will definitely go to the next installment if I’m able to!
Now onto my OOTD for the show!
Dress: Banana Republic Factory
Boots: Steve Madden via DSW
Love this dress and it really makes me think of the 60s. It’s super comfortable and fits really nicely. One thing that was really annoying though is that I didn’t wear a slip under it – I was in a rush when I was getting ready (because I needed to take pictures before I headed out!) and once I was out and about and walking around I realized that there was serious static cling going on. It was the worst! Must wear a slip next time.
Love this wrap bracelet, but I feel like the vibrancy of the color is fading. Anybody know any tips on how to clean this other than water?
Too Faced Shadow Bon Bons, which I got 2 years ago (clearly, I love the Too Faced holiday releases!), MAC Extra Dimension Blush in Seduced at Sea, and a sample size of Too Faced La Creme Color Drenched Lipstick in Naked Dolly.
So that was my look and my experience at Sway! I wish I could go back and relive the 2 hours over again, because it went so quickly!
