Pull-Apart Pizza

It snowed overnight and we got about 4 inches. Of course it would snow on a Saturday when I can’t get a snow day from work! But alas, beggars can’t be choosers. So if you’ll be spending the day in today like me, I’ve got an easy food idea for you that is perfect for next week’s Super Bowl or if you’re just in the mood for some easy, doughy, pizza!

I found some different Pull-Apart Pizza recipes from Pinterest, but mostly followed this one.

First, I used Pillsbury Grand Biscuits and cut the uncooked biscuits into quarters.

Then, I threw them into a mixing bowl. The recipe calls for pizza sauce (14 oz), but I didn’t have any on hand so I used marinara sauce. I also didn’t have fresh basil, so I used dried. So all you do is pour the sauce, basil and some mozzarella cheese onto the quartered biscuits and gently mix. I used a wooden spoon to mix it all up and was careful not to accidentally stab or mush up the dough.

Next, transfer to a greased baking dish and top off with my cheese and basil. Finally, bake it for approximately 25 minutes at 350.

And that’s it! It is seriously a super easy dish to make. The amount of ingredients is really up to your preference – do you like more cheese, less sauce, whatever you like you can customize it. And like I said it’s perfect for a group snack for something like watching a game or just for a day/night in!
