Reviews.com Names Best Face Moisturizers

As I write this (Friday night) it’s just starting to snow and we’re supposed to be getting a blizzard this weekend so by the time this post goes live my neighborhood might be buried in snow!

With the cold weather, a lot of us think about what moisturizers we’re using on our face. At least, I know I do. There are so many brands and so many moisturizers out there with a ton of different claims. I love trying out different products even though sometimes my face does not like my experiments so much. I think we can all agree that that’s the tricky thing. Everyone’s skin is different – so what might work for me, might not work for the next person.

But even though people may have different experiences with products it can be incredibly helpful to just read reviews and find out information about them. But there’s so many to choose from! Lucky for us Reviews.com tested out a whopping 219 face moisturizers and came up with not just a list of top moisturizers but picked out their top day and night moisturizers.

Reviews.com did extensive research and picked their top moisturizers based on humectants (any moisturizers without humectants were automatically cut), fragrance (again any moisturizers with added fragrance were cut), mineral oil (any with mineral oils were cut because they are known for clogging pores), sunscreen (day moisturizers need SPF and night moisturizers don’t), retinoids (day moisturizers with it were cut because they make skin more vulnerable to sun damage, but night moisturizers without retinoids were cut), and finally peptides. I haven’t tried either of these, but I definitely want to now! As well as some of the other products that made it on their top picks list.
