There’s just something about tweed that I’m drawn to. It’s often seen as a classic, vintage-y look, or associated with an old professor’s jacket, but whatever I like it! So I see it as classic, not just the staple look of an older academic.
I got this tweed skirt from the J.Crew factory store back in the fall and I love the blue/green/yellow colors woven together. Since I wanted the colors of the skirt to be the star of the look, I paired it with a plain white cashmere sweater, white tights, and brown slouchy boots. These are all neutral pieces so that the skirt really stands out.
