Photo Challenge: Jubilant

I have two extra days off for Memorial Day Weekend making my long weekend a grand total of 5 days. Thank you un-used snow days! If that didn’t make me jubilant enough, last night was prom and it was my 5th year chaperoning since the seniors are one of the grades I teach. I knew I wanted to use a picture from prom as my photo response to this past week’s photo challenge, “Jubilant“. The students all had a good time, but obviously I’m not going to use a picture of them! The venue and decorations were all very nice, but I didn’t get any great pictures for the challenge. So, I’ve decided to use a picture of my dessert. The dessert consisted of cake and a sundae bar. I made a small sundae and the only thing that would have made it better is chocolate syrup, but unfortunately when I went up they only had strawberry and raspberry sauce left, which I wasn’t in the mood for. Who doesn’t give a chocolate option?!

Anway, the colorful sprinkles against my vanilla ice cream and mini marshmallows are so vibrant and bright and I think a good symbol of the fun, happy, and jubilant time had by all.
