Sleeveless Printed Pintuck

How was everyone’s weekend? I mostly stayed indoors to beat the heat and watched the Olympics. My family had a little bbq dinner to celebrate my birthday, which is tomorrow. I also made my first ever Poshmark sale so I was super excited about that! Shipping it out today! I only have a few items for sale but if you’re interested to see what I’m selling from my closet, my username is jamiemw16.

You know when you go to the movie theater and more often than not it’s chilly in the theater so when you go in the summer you want to bring a sweater or wear something more on your legs than shorts? But jeans are out of the question because that’s too uncomfortable for summer, so leggings or capri leggings seem like a good idea. But then you have to find a top that will cover your butt because I’m not one of those people who think wearing leggings with a top that doesn’t cover your bottom is a good idea. The struggle is real, guys.

So when I went to see Ghostbusters, which I wrote about here, I wore capri leggings and this appropriately long printed pintuck sleeveless top.

Top: American Rag via Macy’s | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Cami:  Old Navy

There are button details in the front, henley style, and the tie in the back helps to cinch the waist. The hem is not hi-lo but rather long in the front and back, but shorter at the sides. The cut paired with the tie in the back really helps to give a slimming effect. The top is sheer (and pretty low cut) so I wore a black cami tank underneath. White would’ve popped more, but I decided going with a primarily black look would look more stylish and, again, slimming.
