My spring break is off to a nice, relaxing start so far and the weather has been fabulous. Yesterday it was in the high 70s and today is supposed to be in the 80s! The weather will start to cool back down to the 60s later this week, which is fine with me. I don’t like to skip spring and get right to summer.
Despite the fact that I’m on spring break, I’m sharing a look I wore to work last month – a lightweight lilac sweater, stretch tweed pants, and a small statement necklace.
Top: American Eagle | Pants: Macy’s | Necklace: Banana Republic Factory | Shoes: DSW
This sweater is perfect for this weather because it is so thin and light. The waffle-like design actually has holes so a tank top is needed underneath. These pants have been seen on the blog a few times before and it won’t be the last time you see them. They are perfect for work with their tweed-like look and slimming look. But the best part about them? The elastic waist! Only downside of these pants is that the zippered pockets are fake! The zippers do work but there are no actual pockets, unfortunately. I finished the look off with this small statement necklace featuring clear and mint green gems. I thought that the mint and lilac went together really nicely and was a nice nod to spring.
I hope your week is off to a good start!
