Curious Creamery Ice Cream

Today might be December 1, but I can have ice cream any time of the year. When The Curious Creamery reached out to me and asked if I wanted to try some of their ice cream mixes, I jumped at the chance. Who doesn’t love ice cream?!

What’s cool about these mixes is that they make it so easy for you to make ice cream at home and they are healthier than your average ice cream. They contain no high fructose corn syrup, no trans fats, no artificial flavor, colors, or preservatives, naturally gluten free, and has 0g of Lactose. All you need is a hand mixer and cold liquid!

The Curious Creamery was kind enough to send me 4 mixes: Vanilla Ice Cream, Chocolate Ice Cream, Birthday Cake flavored ice cream cake, and German Chocolate flavored ice cream cake.

The one I’ve tried so far is the vanilla ice cream. I would’ve tried more by now since they sent these goodies to me a few weeks ago, but I’ve been up to my eyes in Thanksgiving desserts all week!

The process was so incredibly easy. All I had to do was pour the powder into a mixing bowl and then cold milk. Mix it on high for a few minutes. I think the package said 5-7 minutes or something like that. When you’re done mixing you’ve got a thick cream that has definitely multiplied in volume.

I scooped the mixture into a plastic container and put it in the freezer. After a few hours, it was ready to eat!

It came out looking great and I couldn’t believe that I made this ice cream with just milk and a hand mixer! And it tastes great too! It reminds me of the taste of ice cream cake. You know how sometimes ice cream cake tastes different than regular ice cream? That’s what it tastes like to me – it has that creamier flavor. I love that it was easy to make and it doesn’t contain anything unnatural.
