Photo Challenge: Transformation

For last week’s photo challenge, “Transformation“, I took the easy way out since Christmas decorating commenced promptly after Thanksgiving last week. There are so many things to choose from to fit the “Transformation” challenge. Bare Christmas trees turned into beautiful, glittering trees. Plain front doors bedecked with festive wreaths. Garland and/or lights covering banisters and railings. The list goes on.

For the past two years I’ve been putting ornaments in a large vase. I wrote about it in a past post (here). Large vases are gorgeous with fresh flowers (and you all know I’m a huge fan of flowers), but they are just as beautiful during the holidays filled to the brim with ornaments!

I also transformed these mason jars into little winter scenes last year and wrote about it (here). I love these little jars! I’m planning to do another mason jar winter craft this weekend so be on the lookout for that soon. But in the meantime, you can check out the glitter pine cone craft I posted yesterday!
