Disney Vacation Day 3: Magic Kingdom & Epcot

If you’ve been to Disney World and especially if you’re fan I think you’ll understand what I mean when I say there’s a certain feeling of magic and wonder when you first walk through the gates of Magic Kingdom. It is the happiest place on earth after all! The music starts right away, the decorations are everywhere and you make your way to Main Street which feels like a dream world with the iconic Cinderella Castle greeting you at the end of the street.

On Day 3 we spent a few hours at Magic Kingdom before spending the rest of the day at Epcot. We didn’t have any FastPasses for the morning so we went on rides that didn’t have long waits like People Mover (my little cousin’s all time fav) and the Little Mermaid ride. Don’t worry I spent all of yesterday at Magic kingdom which I’ll document on here tomorrow! Here are some shots which I hope capture a bit of the magic.

Next we took the monorail over to Epcot where I proceeded to eat at as many countries as I could without having to be rolled out. But I’ve been walking over 20,000 steps a day so that makes it okay, right?
I love Epcot! Especially now as an adult. I remember going as a kid with my parents and seeing the little shows like the chinese acrobats but I don’t remember much. It wasn’t until the few times I went as I got older that I really started to enjoy it. We didn’t get to go on Soaring but we did have FastPasses for Test Track which was awesome and the Nemo ride. All the info and photos of what I ate will be in my upcoming food post but here are some shots of the park all decorated for the holidays!

For dinner we took the boat over from Epcot to the Boardwalk. So pretty! You can also walk which is probably a good 15-20 minute walk and I bet is a really nice and beautiful walk but my mom’s knee was bothering her so we took the boat. After dinner we took the boat back to Epcot for the Frozen ride and to catch some of the Illuminations show before heading back to the hotel.

Today’s my last day of my vacation – I can’t believe it! I’ll be continuing my travel diary on Monday with my full-on Magic Kingdom day just because I have no time to write it up before then (end of month and year favorites coming up), but in the meantime I hope you enjoy these photos and my little video clip below!
