December 2017 Favorites

I’m heading home from vacation today. I can’t believe the week is already up and that I’m headed back to work in just 2 days. I also can’t believe it’s the last day of 2017! How did that even happen?! So as you can see I’m taking a short break from my travel posts since I’ve been dead tired when I get home from the parks each day so I’m a bit behind. And with it being the end of the year I have this end of month post and tomorrow I’ll have a short reflection on 2017. But don’t worry, I still have a few travel posts to share this coming week and I may even have another one up tomorrow after I do my 2017 reflection post!

As I mentioned above, I’ve been exhausted each day with all the walking all day long, running around to different rides and areas of each park, only getting a few hours of sleep each day – it’s been crazy. Good, but crazy. So I’m going to keep this roundup of my December favorites brief!

If you know me or have followed me on here/social media for a while then you know I’m obsessed with Hallmark movies. I love how they have so many Christmas movies each year – I’m talking dozens. This year was another good year of Christmas movies for the channel!

Next, Outlander, is one of my favorite shows on tv. Season 3 finished up this month. This time traveling love story is so good!

Did you ever watch the tv show Psych? It’s so funny and I miss the show. Luckily, the cast all returned to do a holiday movie special and it was pretty good. I can’t wait to hear if they’re going to make more!

If you follow actress Sarah Hyland on Instagram stories, she is obsessed with the Entenmann’s chocolate frosted donuts. When I was at the store, I thought of how she eats them all the time and I thought about how I hadn’t had them in forever that I had to get them and treat myself to these delicious donuts.

My next favorite is an oldie but a goodie. A toasted bagel with butter. I hadn’t had a bagel with just butter in a long time and when I made it for myself for breakfast recently I remembered just how great it tastes with the butter melting and the cripness of the toasted bagel.

Next up, these fleece foldover leggings from Express are so incredibly soft and comfortable. I would wear them every day if I could!

My last two favorites are things I’ve been wearing on my Disney trip this week. I asked for a mini backpack for Christmas because I thought it would be perfect for traveling, more specifically this trip. My brother got me this black quilted mini backpack and I was right – it has been perfect for the trip! It’s just big enough for everything I would need during the day at the parks – my wallet, my Minnie ears, a sweater, sunglasses, etc.

Lastly, I’ve been wearing these pajamas this week. Now, I’m not sure they are pajamas – they came as a set but weren’t labeled as pajamas, but that’s what I’m using this light weight sweat set as. They are so comfortable and perfect for my Disney trip with the Mickey Mouse outline on the top and gold foiled Mickey on the pants. I also love that the Mickey Mouse outline is thread and not just printed on.
