Owl Love

Have you been watching the Olympics? I’m obsessed! As usual. I have been making note of all the exciting things – or at least what I find exciting – so I can do a roundup post at the end of the games. I don’t watch all the events so it really will just be what I find interesting. Anyway, let’s move on to the purpose of this post.

There are some outfits that you put together in your mind last minute and you’re not sure if it’ll translate in reality as well as it did in your mind, but this is one of those that I’m very happy with! I love this owl sweater and all the colors in it. It’s so pretty and I love that the owl print is made up of multicolored pieces. I wanted to wear my blue leggings with the sweater because I thought the colors would go together really well, but the sweater isn’t quite long enough to wear with leggings. But not to worry, my lace extender came to the rescue! Lastly, I wore my taupe over-the-knee boots to finish off the look.

I think it actually looks really good with the lace extender. The blue leggings, as I had anticipated, looks great with this sweater. The colors just go together so well. I think going with the over-the-knee boots was the perfect choice as the look would not have looked quite right with flats or slip ons.

I love how this outfit came together and that it turned out as good as I envisioned!
