Grey Plaid Cape Coat

Today I’m sharing my last look from my winter shoot with Jaye Kogut Photography – a restyling of a plaid cape coat that I’ve had for a few years. I first shared this cape coat a few winters ago when I first got this coat for Christmas, but those were quick photos just on my porch so I didn’t really get the kinds of shots of it that I had wanted nor did the shots really do the coat justice. So when I was thinking of what looks I wanted to wear for my photoshoot, I knew I wanted to get Jaye to take photos of this cape coat.

This cape coat was from the Scandal line at The Limited a few years ago. It makes me feel super chic and professional! I love cape coats but the one thing that’s annoying about them is that your purse needs to be a clutch or the kind you can carry on your arm because there is no way anything is going on your shoulder!

I love the subtle grey plaid and the mirrored buttons that are off to the side is such a beautiful touch to the coat!

I’m so happy I got some great shots of this beautiful grey plaid cape coat. It’s such a pleasure and fun piece to wear.

That does it for my winter photoshoot with Jaye, but I’ll be doing a spring shoot with her in April so there is more to look forward to! I also have a shoot planned for next month with a photographer who works with a lot of bloggers in my area, so I’m really excited for that!
