Plum & White Floral

I hope all your weekends are going well so far! Mine has been good so far, but I feel like I have had little time to really sit and relax. I went to a bridal shower yesterday for much of the afternoon and then finally saw Black Panther which I really liked and was not disappointed by the hype! The movie was followed by dinner with friends and now today I’ve got to do my BBG workout, run some errands, and then meet up with a friend for coffee. It’s all a good kind of busy, so I’m okay with it all.

For today’s post, I’m sharing a sweater I picked up back in the fall. As you all know, I can and do wear florals all year round. It’s my favorite print and I think it’s definitely wearable all year round. If you’re more wary of florals in the winter but want to give it a try then my suggestion is to wear dark florals because those are more winter friendly since they’re not as bright and spring-like. This plum sweater with all over white swirl floral print is a good example. Plum is definitely a fall/winter color and the white floral is a nice bright contrast to the plum, but still great for winter.

I love how the white print really pops against the rich plum color. It definitely gives a nice winter crispness to the look. The floral print has a swirl look to it and it almost looks like the print is just a continuous print all over the sweater, which I really like.

This is a really easy way to incorporate florals in to the colder months. But hopefully warmer weather is around the corner and we can break out the bright florals soon!
