Wrap Front Tunic

If you’re new to my site, first off – welcome!, you may not know that as much as I wish blogging was my full-time job it’s not (at least not yet – thinking positive!) and my full time job is teaching. I’m on spring break now, although does it count as “spring” when it snowed yesterday? Anyway, before we left for spring break last week we got to wear jeans to work for a dress down day. I wore my new Old Navy Rockstar 24/7 jeans that made it to my March FavoritesΒ and a green wrap front tunic. The sweater is oversized and so soft – I wanted to just wrap myself up in it all day!

I wore my lace topped white camisole underneath and finished the whole look off with my cognac booties with laser cut detailing. I love the wrap front/surplice look to the sweater. It’s such a flattering style. I’ve actually seen a lot of people wear surplice bodysuits lately and that’s something I definitely want to check out myself because I think it’s so classic and flattering.

The tunic length of this sweater would make it perfect with leggings, but I can’t wear those to work even if it’s a dress down day! So I wore the sweater with the next best thing – my buttery soft, stretchy jeans. I definitely need to invest in more pairs!

I hope all your weeks are off to a great start!
