So I have a love/hate relationship with the sweater(s) I’m sharing with you today. Around the holidays I bought these two sweaters in different colors. I thought the color block stripes were so pretty, but what really sold me on them was the little stripes breaking up the blocks that look like tinsel! So pretty. I really have nothing bad to say about these sweaters whatsoever. Both colors are so pretty, the tinsel-y stripes are fun and make the sweaters even more pretty, they’re soft and cozy. What could be bad about them? So the hate part of the relationship has nothing to do with the sweaters actually and more to do with the company I got them from. I got these sweaters from Goodnight Macaroon and while I have gotten a couple of really great pieces from them in the past few months of good quality, I had an issue with them earlier this year and it was never resolved so I won’t be buying from them ever again. I don’t want to get in to a rant about my issue with them, so if you want to know what happened just ask in the comments and I’ll be glad to share!
However, like I said I did get a few really great items from them before this issue occurred and I still want to wear and share them so you’ll see a few things here and there from them but there won’t be any future purchases.
But on to the happy part – these sweaters really are amazing. I took most of the photos of the green sweater, but took a few shots of the yellow one to show that one off too. And yes, there’s snow on the ground in these photos because I took these about 10 days ago when there was snow, but you know, the forecast for today says light snow despite the mild days we’ve been having lately.
Sweater: Goodnight Macaroon | Leggings: (brown) LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s; (black) J.Crew | Boots: Hunter ; Ugg
I love both sweaters, but I think I’m more partial to the green – it’s just a happy, bright gorgeous shade. The sparkly stripes seriously remind me of tinsel and are the perfect touch to the sweaters. I’m so happy I didn’t have an issue with the company regarding these sweaters. So like I said earlier in the post, I really have nothing bad to say about the sweaters themselves. I guess my love/hate relationship stems from the fact that I do, in fact, love the sweaters but they remind me that I don’t care to ever order from them again and how it’s a shame since I’ve liked everything else I’ve gotten from them!
Anyway, hoping the snow passes pretty quickly or doesn’t come at all (I’m writing this ahead of time) so I can transition completely to spring wear!
