Plaid Teddie Sweater

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a great time ringing in 2019 doing whatever you wanted to do whether it was out at a big party, with friends at home, or sleeping! I got together with a few friends and we had a pajama/onesie party. My last day of 2018 didn’t start out so smoothly after burning a hole in my shirt with the iron, but I’m hoping 2019 will be a much better year!

Today I’m sharing this sweater I wore on Christmas. I know, Christmas is technically 2 holidays ago, but it was just a week ago! I’m not sure why this sweater is called a teddie sweater since it’s not fuzzy, but it is really soft and I love the dark Christmas colors it’s got going on in it.

Sweater: J.Crew | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Boots: UGG

I wore this sweater with black jeans and since I was just going to my aunt’s house for a casual Christmas I wore my black UGGs to be comfy. t=I love the plaid design in this sweater – it’s tight-knit and dressier looking. Like I mentioned above, it’s super soft and actually has a nice thickness to it. I like that the colors are darker so while it’s got great colors for Christmas, I can easily wear this any time this winter.

I head back to work tomorrow and I’m definitely not ready. I’m sure a lot of you are also heading back to work tomorrow. Enjoy New Year’s Day and this outfit I’m sharing!
