Floral Scalloped Trim Blouse + Tulip Shorts
Thursday already? This week is flying by! Yesterday I spent the day in Philadelphia (historical Philly to be exact). To say my legs and feet are exhausted after walking miles yesterday would be an understatement! I’ll write a blog post about my day trip there in the near future.
But for today’s post I’m sharing this floral sleeveless blouse with scalloped trim along the buttons and chambray tulip shorts. Guys, this top is so simple yet might be my favorite piece I’ve gotten all summer. It is so pretty. The colors are just so vibrant, but subdued at the same time if that’s possible. Seriously, the colors are everything. The top is a little long and I tried tucking it in to my equally comfy tulip shorts, but the shirt kept slipping out – maybe because of the material? In any case, since tucking it in didn’t work I did a front tie and it looked so good.
I finished off the look with rose gold metallic sandals with scalloped edges. This outfit was a last minute styling and tying it up was something I randomly did after my original plan of tucking it in didn’t work and it came together better than I could have imagined!

Isn’t the scalloped detail by the buttons down the blouse so cute? The little details really do make a difference. The print and colors are so feminine and beautiful and I love that such a simple top can bring me such joy!
I love the tulip design to the shorts and think that it gives a new look to your normal, everyday shorts. Lastly, my sandals are so pretty and fun! I love the criss cross design and the scalloped edges. The fact that they are shiny metallic just makes them even better!
Don’t you just love when last minute outfits turn out to be total gems?
